Confirmation — a mission strengthened in the Holy Spirit

🛡️The Church's answer: No one should be pushed into Confirmation to save family face or to keep pace with a group of friends. The candidate has to learn what the sacrament means, want it freely and prepare properly. Having questions and doubts is no reason to disqualify anyone — and frightening someone who doesn't want it into turning up on the appointed date is just as wrong.

🧐If they press further: “What if I'm in preparation and want to postpone?” — Say honestly why, and take more time to learn. Postponing should not be read as giving up the faith; treat it as part of helping a free response take shape.
